Position / Title: Senior Pricing Analyst
Position Overview:
• This position will support the Pricing Leader in China
• Senior Pricing Analyst will support the Pricing Leader in:
Support SAP ERP system roll-ins:
o Support price administration activities within SAP
o Support training related to price administration for the SAP ERP system
o Test BI team report development for pricing
Monitoring Activities:
o Provide reports and analysis related to win / loss data to better understand the key underlying drives impacting price realization in each local market
o Monitor, maintain and coordinate market pricing information and analysis for all key product categories
o Provide reports and analysis related to price realization for all key products and key segments
Ad-hoc Analysis:
o Support the analyze and synthesis of macro-economic data to monitor local prices levels
o Support the development of various toolkits to supplement the application and utilization of pricing concepts and ideas
o Support the development of various toolkits to help the organization actualize profit improvement initiatives
o Other ad-hoc analysis as needed
Technical Skills
• Strong analytical skills with significant quantitative analysis experience. Ability to synthesize quantitative information and communicate observations, implications and conclusions in a business context.
• Business/financial modeling. Ability to mine data and translate business information into models which are predictive of business results to assist in effective decision making.
• Strong knowledge of pricing processes, price administration and controls, as well as price monitoring and analysis.
• ERP pricing module implementation experience (SAP experience) is desired.
• Ideal skills would include detail orientation, can do attitude, strong problem solving skills and the ability to effectively work with ambiguity (the ability to work with the information at hand to achieve set goals).
